looks quite good to me.

i'd try to work how you're rendering each object a bit better, considering the top down perspective you're going with this: some stuff like the shield are easily readable, but the weapon isnt, and stuff like the belt buckle might not be visible at all if its lying under the chest armor.

other than that, there's still plenty room for improvement. keep up the good work

Masskir responds:

Thank you very much for your advice.
You're absolutely right, so I made some changes (on the pixel art above) using your feedback.

Feels pretty clear that the issue lies not on your technique, but rather oin how your percieve your pieces, the reason why you do your stuff or the fact that you're pretty much working at a mechanical level on your stuff without any real interest on it.

Koboldmaki responds:

i can see why you would come to such a conclusion because there is "nothing" happening in the drawing. the events are all very subtle, perhaps too much so. if anything i care way too much about any drawing i do, to the point where it can become hindering, as i try to make it as good as possible and avoid or correct any mistake i can find.
when i draw, im having a blast 80% of the time easily but iam aware that having fun creating does not guarantee an amazing result.

its always nice to see more puyo puyo love.

It certainly looks ages better than the remake Konami pulled a few years ago.

Glad to see there's interest in a remake of this game
